Founder Introduction
Ngô Quan Hiền is the Founder and Principal of NQH Architects, one of Vietnam’s pioneering architecture and urban design practices.
With nearly three decades of international experience, he stands at the intersection of global architectural rigor and Vietnam’s evolving urban identity.
Educated at SCI-Arc (USA) and shaped by early professional experience in the United States and Tokyo, where he worked with the late Kenzo Tange on major international projects.
Mr. Hiền brings a rare depth of perspective to contemporary Vietnamese architecture.
Since 1998, he has also served as Representative and Chief Liaison Architect for Kenzo Tange Associates in Vietnam.
Through NQH Architects, he has helped translate global design intelligence into locally grounded, forward-looking urban environments, contributing to landmark developments such as Phú Mỹ Hưng New City Center.
His work positions him as a bridge between architectural authenticity, proven experience, and the future of Vietnam’s cities.
Founder Manifesto & Philosophy
Architecture must do more than create buildings; it must shape the future of our cities.
Formed by decades of global practice and grounded in deep respect for place, Ngô Quan Hiền believes architecture should emerge from culture, context, and human life, never be imposed upon them.
Design is not an isolated act, but a collective and contextual process where experience, insight, and collaboration converge.
NQH
NQH Architects’ philosophy guides a balanced approach: between global standards and local identity, vision and discipline, human needs and environmental responsibility.
The ambition is clear: connecting international design thinking with Vietnam’s urban realities by creating environments that are resilient, humane, and capable of evolving.
True architecture earns its longevity not through form alone, but through its ability to serve society, respect the land it inhabits, and remain relevant for generations to come.

PURPOSE & VALUE

NQH Architects designs future-ready environments that create long-term value.
Drawing on decades of international experience and deep local insight, we transform complexity into clear, buildable strategies by delivering architecture and masterplans that are resilient, efficient, and economically sustainable.
Our work is driven by collaboration and informed by data, context, and culture. Each project is conceived as a long-term asset: adaptable over time, operationally sound, and aligned with both market realities and societal needs.
By balancing innovation with responsibility, we help our clients reduce risk, enhance performance, and differentiate their developments in an increasingly competitive landscape.

VISION & APPROACH

We believe people, connectivity, and place are the foundations of successful development.
Through architecture and masterplanning, we shape urban environments that are flexible, climate-responsive, and globally relevant while remaining rooted in local identity.
Design at NQH is a collective and accountable process guided by our clients’ vision and strengthened by studio-wide expertise.
We integrate sustainability, social impact, and design excellence from the outset, ensuring that each project emerges naturally from its context rather than being imposed upon it.
Building on the legacy and leadership of our founder, NQH continues to bridge experience and innovation to create cities and communities that endure, perform, and grow in value across generations.
